The 1st of the new roaring twenties

Happy New Year All! 

The start of a new year and the start of a new decade. 

Last night was a different sort of New Year's to the chaotic and noisy shadows of new years past. I was able to sit and chat in peace, drink some fantastic cocktails and even the bells countdown was replaced by a simple 'happy new year' with some cheers from the small groups around us at the Spiritualist Glasgow. 

Contrast that to wandering into One Up and we were met with trays of bacon rolls, scatterings of tinsel confetti and a very rowdy crowd 😳🤣. It was definitely the two extremes to a glaswegian Hogmanay. 

But amonsgt all the booze and sore feet, the most important thing is that we celebrate with people who support and care for us. Remember those who are gone and be grateful for what we have and the lessons learned. 

So today I reflect and relax. And tomorrow is a brand new day.
